Over the last few weeks Peter and I have spoken to quite a few of our regular patrons regarding this, and now it's time for us to make the official announcement.
In the current economic environment we've found that it's no longer viable for us to be able to operate a brick and mortar store, so after a great deal of consideration, we have reluctantly made the decision not to renew the lease on our shopfront in Tuggerah when it expires at the end of January.
We realise that this will come as a surprise and disappointment to many of you, but we want to reassure all of our valued and loyal supporters that Dark Dimensions Comics & Collectables itself, is not going out of business.
Basically, we need to drastically reduce our inventory levels and cut our overheads, and in order to do this effectively we have decided restructure Dark Dimensions to operate as a primarily online business for the time being.
So, over the next few months we will be ramping up our presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc, and make more products available for purchase via our website - http://goo.gl/VGWzk.
We are also endeavouring to redesign the website to make it much easier to navigate through.
While we transition over we will continue to place monthly orders of comic books and graphic novels for our Standing Orders Customers only, so we would strongly encourage those of you who have not already done so to sign up for our Standing Orders Program as soon as possible, so that you don't miss out on your monthly fix of comiccy goodness.
If you have any questions about joining the Standing Orders Program feel free to visit the shop and talk to either myself or Peter.
And don't forget - all of our current back-issue comics are on sale - up to 25% off the normal pricing!
One day, our store shall come back. Yes, it shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to us that we are not mistaken in ours. (Guess where this misquote came from).
